Paper Lantern

I had a fun experience to make a paper lantern at a lantern shop in Okusawa the other day . First I made a heart-shaped frame with copper wire and some smaller heart-shaped frames to place inside the main heart-shaped frame.
Then these frames were soldered to build one complete heart-shaped lantern frame. Next, put Japanese paper over the frame. Finally attach the frame to a tap with a small light bulb behind the lantern. When turned on the light it looks tender and calm.
