Inokashira Park

Inokashira park covering the Ghibli Museum campus has a wide range of woods that residents of Mitaka or the visitors would enjoy walking or jogging in any seasons.

During warmer seasons you will see some people practice playing the musical instruments as in the photo. I hope the visitors to the Ghibli will find a chance to walk through the woods into the Inokashira pond area.

Peace of mind

In Northern Okinawa Main Island

Avenue of Motobe Fukugi (common garcinia)

The Bise village in Motobe-cyou is famous for the path surrounded by the fukugi trees. You will see patches of sun light and feel a soft breeze. It has a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Time runs slowly in this village.

Beyond the fukugi trees spread the emerald green sea.

Let's Celebrate The Dolls's Festival !

Annually March 3 is the girls' day which is called "Hinamatsuri(dolls' festival)."

Let's light up the paper lanterns, drink sweet mild sake called "amazake" and pray for girls'  health and good fortune.

Dancing with dolls to music is really fun for girls. Do you know the dolls are supposed to drink and enjoy themselves in the midnight while they are on display?
